Laura Jean Maestas

Laura Jean Maestas 53, Passed away February 17, 2018. A lifetime Puebloan She was born May 10, 1964. She graduated from Centennial High School and worked as a Childcare provider at Southside Children Center. She is preceded in death by her father Francisco “Pancho” Quezada. Laura was the Queen for Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was a great guitarist, she loved singing, doing crafts her specialty was Indian Dolls. She enjoyed tending to her garden. She had a tradition annually of a Balloon Send off every Christmas Day. Laura had a very strong faith she loved the lord and loved being with her family, who meant the world to her. From the minute you met Laura, she made an impact on you. You were only a stranger to her once she did not forget a face. Laura is survived by her mother, Dolores (Sandoval) Quezada, Her Loving Husband Lukse Maestas ; Her children: Valentino (Cristalina) Moreno, Luke (Hilary) Maestas Jr. and EvaMarie (Destry) Trujillo; Her siblings: Roxanne (Elias) Robles, and Mike Moreno. 5 grandchildren : Aaron and Ian Trujillo, Aver Maestas, Marley Mars, and Prysies Moreno; several in-laws, cousins other relatives and friends who loved and will miss Laura. Memorial service 10a.m. Tuesday Angelus Chapel. Family will receive friends at Zaragoza Hall following service
