Lupe Martinez

Lupe Martinez, 80, passed away April 5, 2018. She was born Dec. 31, 1937 to Benito and Vera (Regalado) Roque who precede her in death along with her husband, Fermin Joseph Martinez and son, Juan Benito "JB” Martinez, siblings; Thomas Roque, Isabel Chavez, George Roque and Benito Roque Jr. She retired from Pueblo Head Start- Fulton Heights with 25 years of service, 12 years as a bus driver and a teacher for 12 years.  She was an excellent cook, and like to make different sweets. She enjoyed going camping and watching her favorite show, Wheel of Fortunate. She could listen to music for hours with her sisters. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She leaves to cherish her memory; her children, Loretta Martinez, Fermin Dennis Martinez, Sam (Lori) Martinez; grandchildren, Stephanie, Sasha, Shelby, Marcus; 3 great grandchildren, Jayden, Anayah, Roman, siblings; Louie (El Freda) Roque, Therese (Martin) Quintana, Mary (Bob) Duran, Veronica Lucero, Genevieve (Arthur) Chavez, Gloria Roque, Dan Roque, Nick (Mary) Roque, Robert Roque, special friend, Aubrie Gonzales, other relatives and friends that will miss her. Memorial Service Friday 11a.m. Fellowship of the Rockies Church.
