Phillip Dennis Casados, age 67, passed away Jan. 15, 2018. He was born Oct. 5, 1950, in La Veta, Colo., to parents, Manuel and Dora (Montoya) Casados, who preceded him in death; along with son, Janero Casados; and eight siblings. He served four years in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed volunteering, working on his beautiful yard and all sports. He was an avid Raiders fan. He was a very hard worker, and instilled that ethic into his children. He had such great love for his grandchildren. He was always willing to help anyone in need. Phillip leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Lorraine (Gonzales) Casados; children, Sean Che Casados (Jennifer), Angelo Casados (Angela) and Brittany (Casados) Doose (Mario); nine grandchildren; seven siblings; mother-in-law, Josie Aguilar; two brothers-in-law; four sisters-in-law; other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. Memorial service, noon Monday, Jan. 22, 2018, Fountain of Life Community Church, Pastor Monty Mora, 540 Alma. Family will receive friends following the service at Zaragoza Hall.
