Carmen Mary Adame, 82, passed away March 12, 2024. She was born March 22, 1941 in Rifle, CO. to parents, Leandro and Erminia (Garcia) Hernandez. Both precede her in death along with her 1st husband, Miguel Adame; children, Michael Adame and Inez Montoya; grandson, Michael Adame Jr.
She was a hard-working dedicated employee of Walmart for 25 years. She was passionate about her work and took pride in everything she did. Her family was her heart and soul. She was the matriarch of 4 generations. Carmen's favorite pastime was to be with her family while sharing her life lessons, words of wisdom and her endless love for each of them. She had a heart of gold, always willing to help and pray for anyone. She was deeply rooted in the Catholic faith and always remembered to pray the Rosary. She was known as our family's prayer warrior. She was an incredible woman, who always spread positivity, love, and joy to everyone around her. Carmen's passing is a tremendous loss to each of us. Her bubbly personality and beautiful smile will be cherished forever.
Carmen is survived by her husband, Rafael Rosales Soto; children, Cristina (Efrain) Romero and Andres Adame; grandchildren, Maria Montoya, Victor Montoya, Armando Perez, Jose Montoya, Veronica Perez, Ricardo Montoya, and Julian Adame; siblings, Salvadore (Janette) Hernandez and JoAnne Guara; 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial, 10 am, Fri., March 22, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery.
