Alexander John Collier, 65, passed away on November 18, 2018. He was born in June 6, 1953 to proud parents, Gene and Eleanor (Gomez) Trease who both precede him in death, along with son, Donae Joseph Collier. Alexander graduated from Elston High School in Michigan City, Ind., and served in the United States Air Force in 1971. He was a local entrepreneur and owner of several businesses over the years including a restaurant, DVD store, chili stand and local liquor store, Indian Springs on Hwy 50 and 25th Lane. Alexander was an avid Broncos and Rockies fan who loved spending time hiking and fishing in the mountains as well as enjoying spending time with children and many grandchildren. He had gained many customers and friends throughout the years who were considered dear to his heart. He will be dearly missed.. Alex is survived by his wife, Jackie Barela; children, Sean Collier, Heather (Benjamin) Hillman; step-son, Nathan M. Salazar; siblings, Delbert (Tammy) Trease, Mark (Rhonda) Trease, Bill Trease, Alexis Collier Baumgarten, Melody Alvarez, and Cathy Trease; in laws, Karl (Debra) Barela and Gordon (Barbara) Barela; grandchildren, Ashton, Madison, Olivia, Fischer and Rosalee; several other relatives. Rosary Wednesday November 28, 2018 6:00 p.m, Funeral Mass Thursday November 29, 2018 10:00 a.m both at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment Roselawn Cemetery
