Angela Marie Montano

Angela Marie Montano, 58, affectionately known as "Angie", passed away peacefully on June 28, 2019. She was born August 15, 1960 in Pueblo, Colorado. She is preceded in death by her uncles, Henry Herrera and Joe Herrera; aunt, Pauline Casaus and niece, Diane Rubio. Angie was a Guadalupana at her church  St. Mary Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, knitting, swimming, and canning. Angie was a great cook, you never left her home without eating. She was a disciplinarian with love. Angie often reminisced about taking care of Beto whom she loved as a son. She had a heart of gold, wanting to help anyone in need, always putting everyone before herself. Angie instilled into her children to treat everyone with respect and never forget where you came from. Angie is survived by her mother, Elena Juarez; children, Martin (Ana) Gutierrez and Samuel Gutierrez; grandchildren, Aliyah Gutierrez, Anahi Gutierrez and Omar Samuel Gutierrez; siblings, Eleanor Montano, Manuel, Paul (Jackie), Debbie (Larry) Colon, Michael, Benjamin and Annette Rivera; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends who loved and will miss Angie dearly. Memorial Service 10 am Thursday July 4, 2019, Angelus Chapel.
