Caroline Lucero

Caroline Lucero, 99, passed away June 17, 2019 in Pueblo, CO. She was born May 23, 1920 in Costilla, New Mexico to Celedonio and Celina Trujillo who precede her in death along with her beloved husband of 49 years, Joe L. Pacheco Lucero; siblings, Margaret Lovato, Lucy Manzanares, Sallie Craig, Gilbert Trujillo, Eddie Trujillo. In her younger days she was a Post Master in Costilla, NM. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, dancing, and watching “Golden Girls”. She loved to be with her grandchildren, too. Her biggest joy was her time spent with her family, and her strong faith. Caroline leaves to cherish; her children, John D. (Donna) Pacheco, Norma (Michael) Trujillo, Carla (Santiago) Lopez; and Norman Pacheco; grandchildren, John (Leslie) Pacheco, Antonio (Wendy) Pacheco, Bernadette Martinez, Melissa Contreras, Desiree (Anthony) Mondragon, Antoinette (Josh) Sachleben, Gabriela Lopez, Josephine Lopez; great-grandchildren, John, Jacob, Mateo, Diego, Reyes, Alexis, Dominique, Delilah, Shelby, Owen, and Oscar; siblings, Beatrice (Gustavo) Vigil, Ella Mae Arellano, CC Trujillo; sister-in-law, Gloria Pacheco; other relatives and friends who loved and will miss her dearly. Rosary, Wednesday 6p.m, Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m Thursday both at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens.
