Coleen Cruz

Coleen O. Cruz, was born August 18, 1938 in Wilton, North Dakota to Irma and Floyd Knock who both precede her in death along with her brother Clayton "Butch" Knock. Coleen passed away on May 27, 2018 after a lengthy illness with her family by her side. Coleen is survived by her husband of 37 years Paul R. Cruz, the love of her life; children, Debby (Jim) Miller, Peggy (Erin) Covey, John (Kristie) Brolin, Paula Cruz, Nathalie Cruz, Sheila Cruz, Paul "Sonny" Cruz, Amelia (Sharon) Cruz; siblings, Carol (John) Walters and Dennis (Sue) Knock; siblings, Carol (John) Walters and Dennis (Sue) Knock; 23 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, along with numerous nieces and nephews. 

Coleen was a wonderful wife. The most important thing in her life was her family and her pet dog Max. She loved cooking and baking for everyone. For holidays she baked for weeks before the big day. She was especially known for her haystacks, carmoletas and fabulous fudge. Holidays will never be the same again.  Her meals were wonderful and the more people she could feed the better. 

Coleen was loved not only by her family but by her friends, neighbors and even the neighborhood children.  She will be missed by everyone who knew her. 

There will be a private burial at a later date per her request.
