Ercilia B. Gallegos

Ercilia B. Gallegos, 93, passed away peacefully December 2, 2018 with her loving family at her bedside. She was born March 9, 1925 in Raton, New Mexico to the union of Filbert and Frances Tafoya who both precede her in death, along with her husband, Alfonso Gallegos; children, Ronald Vigil, Faith Avila, Hope Moreno and Manuel Gallegos; brothers, Steve, Filbert, Tommy Tafoya and Billie Sammon. Ercilia loved traveling, fishing and dancing, but above all she loved being with her family. She had a strong faith and instilled her wisdom into her 5 generations. Ercilia will be missed and loved by all who were so fortunate to know her. Ercilia is survived by her loving children, Wayne (Veronica) Gallegos, Dwayne "George" (Susan) Gallegos, Joseph (Shawna) Gallegos, Debra (William) Aragon, Elizabeth Gallegos, Mary (William) Mercado, Michael Gallegos and Angela Gallegos; brother, Arthur Tafoya; 43 grandchildren; special grand-daughter that she raised, Jessica Gallegos;  87 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren. Funeral Service 12:00 p.m Saturday December 8, 2018 at Victory Outreach, 900 E Routt Ave, Pueblo, CO 81004. Pastor John Weigel, Officiating.
