Eric C. Roybal

Eric C. Roybal, 44, passed away August 2, 2019. Born January 25, 1975 to Tano and Irene Roybal. He is preceded in death by his mother, Irene Roybal; grandparents, Manuel and Alvina Chavez and Susan Padilla; brother, Eloy Roybal Jr. Eric served in the United States Army for 4 years. He was part of the 82nd Airborne Paratrooper Division and All Army Boxing Team. Eric was known as an athlete, known for his talents in boxing, wrestling, football, baseball and softball. He was a coach throughout his life and most recently helped coach his daughters softball team. Eric is survived by his wife, Tara (Marquez) Roybal; Daughter, Portia Roybal; father, Tano Roybal; step-mother, Marcia Pianga; grandfather, Natividad Padilla; siblings, Eddie (Antoinette) Roybal, and Lisa (Allen) Salazar; in-laws, Steve and Eleanor Marquez and Tanya (Misty) Marquez; 9 nieces and nephews and 3 great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly. Memorial Service, 4 p.m Thursday August 8, 2019 Abundant Life Christian Church 1001 Constitution Road. Pastor Roger Lucero, Officiating.
