Evelyn June Calderon, 89, passed away April 12, 2018 in Pueblo, CO. She was born April 9, 1929 in Pontiac, Michigan to James and Dora (Padilla) Herrera who precede her in death along with her sister, Betty Herrera. Evelyn was a supervisor for the Dept. of Social Services retiring with 29 years of service. She enjoyed music, dancing, dinners, movies, books, and traveling the world. She was a member of the Shrine of St. Therese Catholic Church, and was also active in the choir. Most of all she loved her quality time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Evelyn leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 68 years, Ray Calderon; her children, Ray Bruce Calderon, Lu (Chuck) Todisco, and Jim Calderon; brother-in-law, Eloy Calderon; grandchildren, Shanda (Brian) Vidmar, Jason (Maria) Todisco, Jemica (Jaustin) Dabney, Nick (Vanessa) Calderon, Tristan Giroux, Taylor Calderon, Jasia Calderon, and Chad Medina; great-grandchildren, Danielle, Jaren, Jackson, Lauren, Tyler, and Jade; other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. Rosary Vigil 6 p.m. Friday April 20, 2018. Mass of Christian Burial 1 p.m. Saturday April 21, 2018 both at Shrine of St. Therese. Interment Roselawn Cemetery.
