Filbert "Floyd" LaCrue, 76, passed away on May 21, 2018. He was born on December 9, 1941 in Sopris, CO to Nicomeres and Lucinda (Lovato) LaCrue both precede him in death along with his loving wife of 52 1/2 years Celia LaCrue who passed away on March 24, 2018; siblings, Robert LaCrue and Thelma Garcia. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles #145. He retired from CF&I with more than 40 years of service as a Millwright in the Rail Mill. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and hunting. He loved being with his family, especially during the holidays, Sunday dinners and barbecues at his daughter Bobbie's house. He enjoyed sports watching the Colorado Rockies and CSU Football on Saturdays. Filbert leaves to cherish his memory; children Kenneth LaCrue, Eric Montoya, Bobbie (David) Benavidez; siblings, Frank (Geraldine) LaCrue, Mike (Mary) LaCrue, Napoleon LaCrue, Stella Foster, Judith Sanchez, Viola LaCrue; brother in law Phil Montoya; grandchildren, Erica Frandsen and Alicia Montoya and his little sweetheart, Leah Marie Benavidez; great-grandchildren, Kinleigh and Emma Frandsen, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly. Visitation, Tuesday May 29, 2018, 4-8 p.m., Memorial Service, Wednesday May 30, 2018, 10 a.m. both at Angelus Chapel. Military honors by Pueblo Veterans Ritual Team. Family will receive friends at the Zaragoza Hall following services.
