Floyd Vigil "Chato" Obituary

Floyd E Vigil "Chato", 88, passed away April 30, 2018. He was born May 24, 1929 in Costilla, NM to Jose and Sinforosa (Cordova) Vigil who both precede him in death. Along with his two brothers, Paul and Felix Vigil, former wife, Angelina Martinez and son in law; Fidel Gonzales. Floyd served in the United States Army and was a Korean War Veteran. He enjoyed playing pool, bingo, watching cowboy movies, and flirting with the ladies. Survived by his children, Patty Vigil, Alice (Arturo) Marrufo and Michael Vigil. Grandchildren, Lisa and Arturo Marrufo, Great Grandchildren, Angelina and Alejandro Marrufo, several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews and his four-legged friend Chikita. Visitation Monday 1-5 pm, Memorial Service, 11 a.m., May 8, 2018 both at Angelus Chapel. Family will receive friends at Zaragoza hall following service.
