Jesse Clayton Collins Jr.

Jesse Clayton Collins Jr., 26, passed away unexpectedly March 7, 2018, in Denver. He was born March 26, 1991, to proud parents, Jesse and Paula Collins Sr. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Russell and Kate Collins Sr., Jacob Montoya and Emily Flores; uncle, Russell “Rusty” Montoya; aunt, Rita Gomes; and cousin, Melvin Collins. He graduated from Centennial High School in 2009, then received his Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Metropolitan State University in 2017. Jesse was in his first year of pharmacy school at the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. He lived life to the fullest, and was a very hard worker. He enjoyed playing the claw machine, he never walked away without winning a prize. Bonding time with his brothers was very important to him, and playing video games was one of their favorite things to do together. He was an up and coming business man, with his savvy ways of investing. As he constantly had a logical way of thinking. Jesse leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Jesse and Paula Collins Sr.; brothers, Cameron, Bryce and Logan Collins; to include, Christopher and Lindsey Collins, loving partner and best friend, Don Andersen; aunts and uncles, Pam (Gary) Godinez, Kate Collins, Emma Collins, Leslie Howen, Linda Dauz, Rusty (Amy) Collins, Raymond (Tammy) Collins, David (Alena) Collins, Walter Gomes, Robert Gomes, Anthony Soto; numerous other relatives and friends who will miss Jesse dearly. Funeral Mass, 4 p.m. Tuesday, Cathedral of the Sacred Heart Church, the Rev. Monsignor Jim Koenigsfeld, celebrant. Family will receive friends at the Zaragoza Hall following the service.
