Jose P. Monarrez

Jose P. Monarrez, 91, passed away June 18, 2019. He was born January 24, 1928 to proud parents, Miguel and Maria (Najero) Monarrez both preceded him in death, along with wife, Connie Martin. Jose retired from District 60, custodial department with 30 years of service. He enjoyed playing cards, watching his Novellas and Bronco games. You could always find him with his caretaker Diana Martin Rivas, who was by his side, but above all he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. Jose is survived by his children, Martha Monarrez, Monica (Larry) Pacheco, Theresa (Adrian) Lopez, Diana Martin Rivas, Amy Martin and Nancy Vigil; several siblings and other family members and friends who will dearly miss him. Celebration of Life 2 p.m Tuesday June 25, 2019 Angelus Chapel.
