Karen Denise Hicks

Karen Denise Hicks, 44, passed away Jan. 7, 2019. A lifetime Puebloan she was born Dec. 25, 1974. She is preceded in death by her children, Kalob Michael Hicks and Makenzie Kylynne Hicks; dad, Wyatt Fuqua; father-in-law, Charles Hicks; grandparents, Rolando(Deluvina) Sena and John J. Valdez, and numerous family members. Karen leaves to cherish her memory, loving husband of 21 years, Michael Hicks; mother, Louisa Fuqua, dad, Victor (RosAnna) Sena; step- mother, Bea Valdez; siblings, Pearl (Francisco) Maestas, Priscilla (Trish) Sena- Montoya, Victor (Krystle) Sena, Melissa Conley; grandmother, Vera Valdez; nephews, Jason (Sansurae) Martinez and Mo; neices, Dani Aguilar, Alix Aguilar, VedaRae Martinez, Sienna Maestas, Amilia Maestas; God-daughter, Alexis Martinez; special friends and cousins, Angela (Tony) Anaya, Romeo Anaya, Skyler Anaya, Genesis Anaya; and numerous other family and friends. Rosary 6 p.m., Friday, Angelus Chapel. Memorial Mass 10a.m. Saturday at Christ the King, Father John Ozella, celebrant.
