Leo William Armijo

Leo William Armijo, 67, passed away September, 23, 2018. He was born August 29, 1951 in Las Vegas, NM to Cristobal and Adela (Solano) Armijo who precede him in death along with, twin sister, Virginia Armijo, siblings, Lorraine, Ike, Leo and Junior; brother in law, Joe Gonzales; sister-in-laws Chavella and Mary Armijo; great niece, Desiree Trujillo; great nephew, Jeramiah; Leo retired from St. Mary Corwin with more than 25 years of service. He graduated from Central High School, Class of 1970. Leo was very optimistic and a sports fanatic, he loved football, baseball, going to Cripple Creek, Las Vegas and Bessemer park. Above all he loved being with his family and grandchildren. He is survived by; his girlfriend, Phyllis; children, Yvonne (Nick) Cordova and Leeandrew Armijo; siblings, Dolores (John) Wyatt, Benny (Julia), Cristobal Jr. (Geri), Connie Armijo, Della (Sam) Mondragon and Mary Gonzalez; grandsons, Ignacio, Isidro Roybal and Jeramiah Moreno; mother of his children, Sylvia; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly. At families request wear your favorite Bronco attire. Funeral Mass, 11 a.m Saturday September 29, 2018 at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
