Manuel Romero

Manuel Romero, 96, passed away May 14, 2019. He was born October 17, 1922 to proud parents Manuel and Ninfa Romero both preceded him in death along with, his wife, Cesarita Romero; daughters, Linda Almarez and baby Marie. Manuel served 3 years in the Army and was a World War II Veteran. He retired from CF&I Steel Mill, but most important to him was his strong faith and family who were his world. Manuel is survived by children, Eleanor (Steve) Marquez, Judy Romero, Dorothy Lujan, Martin Romero, Lawrence (Lisa) Romero; daughter in law, Vickie Romero; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends that will dearly miss him. Rosary 10 a.m Friday with Funeral Mass to follow 11 a.m both at St Gertrudes Church, 1 Church Plz, Mora, NM. Interment at their Family Cemetery, Guadalupita, NM. Services entrusted to Rivera Family Funeral Home, Taos, NM.
