Mary Venita Bravo

Mary Venita Bravo, 90, passed away May 26, 2019. She was born November 9, 1928 to proud parents Tony and Caroline (Vasquez) Archuleta both preceded her in death, along with, siblings, Carol Camp and Albert Archuleta; brother in law, Bob Walden. A lifetime resident of Walsenburg and Chama Colorado. Venita was loving and caring soul, always wanting to give and take care of everyone. She was an excellent cook, you never left her home without eating. Venita is survived by her husband of 73 years, Abraham L. Bravo; her siblings, Emma (Toby) Barela, Albert A. (Frances) Archuleta, Shirley Walden; sister in laws, Vangie, Beatrice, Carmel and Bernice; brother in law, Archie Camp; Very special friend and caretaker, Kevin Medina; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends who loved and will miss her dearly. Funeral Mass 2:30 pm Friday May 31, 2019 Sacred Heart Church Gardner, State Hwy 69, Gardner, Colorado, Rev. Stephen Olamolu, Celebrant. Interment, Chama Cemetery.
