Olojio Arturo "Archie" Trujillo, 85 passed away July 13, 2018. He was born Aug. 27, 1932 in Fowler, CO to the union of Fredrico and Laura Trujillo both precede her in death along with three brothers, Ross, George, and Jim Trujillo; sister, Rosalie Trujillo; granddaughter, Jaime Lee. He served in the U.S. Army. In his younger years he was a boxer. He retired from IBM 1988. "Archie" as he was affectionately known by family and friends, had a golden voice as the lead singer of his band Los Imposibles. He also enjoyed bowling, playing baseball, fishing, hunting, a true outdoorsman. Archie is survived by his wife, Nora Ida Trujillo; special friend and companion, Espie Leyba; his children, Allen (Stephanie) Trujillo, Dennis (Linda) Trujillo, Julia (Gary) Leonard, Joyce (Andy) Sago; Myra (Sam) Sasser, Ben (Terry) Trujillo, Leonore ( Brandon) Meira; to include special friends, Loretta Chavez and Michael Short; 24 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; siblings, Carolyn Marlo, Fred (Pat) Trujillo, Felix (Benita) Baca, Sam (Sally) Baca, Phillip (Diane) Baca; several in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Rosary 11a.m.Thursday with Celebration of Life to follow at Angelus Chapel. Military Honors by Pueblo Veterans Ritual Team. Family will receive friends at the Zaragoza Hall following the service.
