Robert D. Anaya

Robert D. Anaya , 88, passed away December 8, 2018. He was born April 3, 1930 to the union of William and Elvira (Maestas) Anaya who both precede him in death, along with, siblings, Bill, Joe Lou, Adeline and Lloyd; sister in law, Edna Oliver. Robert served in the Navy. He retired with 33 years of service from CF&I and as a detention officer with Pueblo County Sheriff for 5 years. Robert enjoyed fishing, camping and 4 wheeling. Robert was an excellent cook and was great at wood working. He was known as Mr. Fix It, always working on something in the garage. The biggest joy in his life were his children and grandchildren. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, loving wife, Patti Anaya; daughter, Lynette (Bill) Holt; son, Robert "Bubba" (Holly) Anaya; grandchildren, Lauryn, Kyle and Marissa; brother, Don (Colleen) Anaya; brother in law, Joey Oliver. Funeral Service 1 p.m Friday Angelus Chapel. Military Honors by Pueblo Veterans Ritual Team. Interment Imperial Memorial Gardens.
