Ronald F. Petkosek, 79, lifetime Puebloan, passed away Sept. 5, 2018 in Pueblo, CO. He was born November 19, 1938 to Frank and Ann (Steblay) Petkosek who precede him in death along with in-laws, Louis and Antoinette Scaplo, and son-in-law, Dennis Paradiso. Ronald had two Masters Degrees in Education. He was an educator and Principal with District # 70 for 32 years. He was the principal for the first elementary school in Pueblo West. Co-Owner of Zoelsmann’s Bakery for 12 years. In his time of leisure he was an avid reader, sports fan, he enjoyed fishing, playing golf, and watching his grandchildren play sports. Above all Ron loved spending time with his family. He leaves to cherish his memory; wife of 55 years, Angela (Scaplo) Petkosek; children, Luann Paradiso, Frank (Kass) Petkosek, Stephanie (Frank) Raper, Vincent (Christine) Petkosek, Anette (Jimmy) Hanratty; grandchildren, Meagen (Rick) Quade, Suzanne Petkosek, Frank Petkosek, Ursaline Paradiso, Joey Paradiso, Steve Raper, Colin Raper, Abbey Raper, Ashlee Hanratty, Jack Hanratty, Jay Hanratty, Annie Hanratty; great-grandchildren, Sophia Quade, Brody Quade, Charlotte, and Adalyn Petkosek; sister Joanne (Arron) Wieser; special aunt Josephine Montera; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
