Rosa Orozco

Rosa Maria Garcia Sanchez Orozco, 80, got her Angel wings suddenly and unexpectedly October 10th, 2018 after a brief but serious illness. Rosa Maria was born in Atotonilco El Alto Jalisco Mexico on March 6, 1938 to parents Jesus Garcia Gomez and Maria Guadalupe Sanchez Alaniz, the fourth born of eight children. When Rosa met her future husband Jesse Orozco it was love at first sight, they married in 1970 and were married for 36 years until Jesse passed away in 2006. Rosa was a loving bonus Mom to nine children. She worked at St. Mary Corwin Hospital until she retired in 1999. Rosa loved to travel and she was an excellent seamstress and wonderful cook. Rosa was also a longtime member of the YMCA where she did water aerobics daily until 2015. Rosa was preceded in death by her parents Jesus Garcia Gomez and Maria Guadalupe Sanchez Alaniz; siblings, Elias and Jesus Garcia Sanchez, Delfina Garcia Sanchez; stepson Mark Orozco. She is survived by cousins Dolores Archuleta and Bertha (George) Norick; siblings Isaias Garcia Sanchez, Maria Concepcíon and Luz Maria Garcia Sanchez; stepchildren, James, Veronica, Jesse (Veronica), Victor (Debra), Carol, Eugene, Jerry Orozco, Lillian (Jerry) Gardner; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and beloved friends who will cherish her memory forever. Visitation Thursday 1:00 p.m until 4:00pm Angelus Chapel, Rosary 9:30 am with Funeral Mass to follow 10am both at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Interment, Mountain View Cemetery.
