Rose Gonzales

Rose Gonzales, 91, passed away March 15, 2019. A lifetime Puebloan, she was born March 29, 1927 to Juan and Clorinda Gomez, who precede her in death along with her loving husband, Dan Gonzales; siblings, Alfonso Gomez, David Gomez, Margarita Gomez, and Margaret Gomez. Rose enjoyed dancing, bingo, card games, watching novellas and coloring with her grandchildren. She was a devout Catholic, she prayed the rosary morning and night. She had a great sense of humor. She was a very generous person, always wanting to give more than what she had. Her biggest joy of all was spending time with her family. Rose leaves to cherish her memory; her children, Mark D. (Rosita) Gonzales, Diana Gonzales; brother, Louis (Polly) Gomez; grandchildren, Ray Daniel Gonzales (Jaylene Santistevan), Mark A. (Jessica) Gonzales, Daniella (Dan) Lepik, Mario Gonzales (Brittney Harris), Brandon Gonzales (Haleigh Barela), 11 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-laws Connie and Marcella Gomez.special cousin, Lucy Lizardi; numerous other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly. Rosary 6p.m. Monday. Mass of Christian Burial 10a.m. Tuesday. Both at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment Roselawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the Zaragoza Hall following service.
