Royal A. Nicholas Jr., 55, passed away Dec. 15, 2018 a lifetime Puebloan. He was born Feb 11, 1963 to Royal "Bones" and Irene Nicholas both preceded him in death along with, grandmother, Irene Hawkins; sister, Michelle Nicholas Massenburgh; great nephew, Elijah Hagger. He graduated from South High School and served in the U.S Army 1983-1987. He loved hanging out with his buddies, enjoying his cocktails. Royal was famous for ending his conversations with "I'll hollar black at you" and "Ugh nah nah nah!" His gesture was to always raise the roof with his hands. Oh no, him behind a wheel of the brown truck, watch out! Royal had a great sense of humor, but don't get him started cursing in German. He was so funny. Above all spending time with his nieces, nephews and family is what he enjoyed the most. He is survived by his children, Maurice Nicholas and Veonte Williams; sister, Lisa Nicholas; nephews and nieces, Troy, Taquan, Tyshawn, TaJah, Rashad and Trelynn Nicholas; several great nieces and nephews; aunt, Elizabeth Hampton; several cousins, other relatives and friends.
