Rufino “Chuck” Rendon, 90, passed away on July 29, 2018. He was born on July 19, 1928 to the union of Eulalia and Jose Rendon who both precede him in death, along with; sons, Joe Rendon, and Ricky Rendon; siblings, Sam, Saul, Joe, James and Rose; son in law, Manuel Lopez, Chuck served in the Korean War 89th Division Rifle team for the US Army. He retired after 39 years of Service for CF&I and dedicated over 40+ years of umpiring softball for multiple associations. Chuck will always be remembered for his generosity, kindness and unconditional love for his family and friends. He loved watching sports and his westerns, listening to his music and most of all, dancing. Survived by wife of 58 years, Josie “Jo” Rendon; children, Anna Mae Cruz, Diana Lopez, Ginger Rendon (Antoinette) and Anthony “Tony” Rendon (Vanessa); brother, Mike Rendon; sister-in-laws, Liz Duran and Margaret Sanchez; brother-in-law, Don Barton; 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, his umpire family and many friends.
