Alexandria "Sweetie Bee" Trujillo Obituary

With hearts full of love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Alexandria Bernadette Trujillo, better known as Sweetie Bee, who left this world far too soon on March 27, 2025, at the age of 40, surrounded by love in her home in Pueblo, Colorado.

Born on March 4, 1985, in Pueblo at Parkview Hospital, Alexandria was a radiant soul who brought light, laughter, and warmth to everyone blessed enough to know her. The beloved daughter of Bernard and Eva Arellano (Eva Garcia), she grew up in a family rooted in deep love, tradition, and strong values.

Alexandria dedicated her life to caring for others, working in Home Healthcare, Reflexology, and as a Childcare Provider and Foster Mom—roles that so beautifully reflected her nurturing heart and giving spirit. Whether she was providing comfort to someone in need or opening her home to children needing love, Alexandria gave her all—always.

She leaves behind a legacy of love in her children: Estrella Arellano Lujan, Ayiana Cruz, and Bernard Arellano, who were the lights of her life. Her beloved fur baby, Hercules, better known as “Bestfriend,” was never far from her side.

Alexandria is survived by her devoted parents, Eva and Bernard Arellano, and her siblings Annica Arellano (Sam), DeeDee Arellano Clark, Ursula Smith, and Tonya Arellano. She was a proud and loving auntie to her special nieces Esparanza Arellano (Brandon)  Anjelita Corral, and Graciela Corral, and a cherished great-aunt to Leilani Rose. She shared a beautiful bond of friendship and brotherhood with her dearest friend Dale Ericksen.

Alexandria leaves behind her loving husband of 3 years, Bryan James Trujillo. They devoted their lives to each other on Nov. 15, 2022. Alexandria fostered 2 grandchildren Anthony and Sissy Hanson Trujillo. She is also survived by her in-laws Carol and Lonny Garcia.

Her presence will also be deeply missed by her many extended nieces, nephews, and family members.

Alexandria reunites in peace with her grandparents Rose and Leo Garcia, Frances and Thomas Arellano, her beloved Auntie Margie, Uncle Alex, her special “little” uncles JoJo Arellano and Diego Lucero, and many other aunts, uncles, friends, and her forever fur baby Ginger Arellano—all of whom were waiting with open arms.

She will always be remembered for her kindness, playful spirit, and contagious laughter. Alexandria loved cooking and baking for her family—her famous Chicken Alfredo and peach cobbler were more than meals, they were acts of love. She found joy in listening to oldies, playing jokes, and making every moment count with those she loved most.

Alexandria’s presence was a blessing, her love was a gift, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her soul was one-of-a-kind—a beautiful blend of strength, softness, and sunshine. Though her time here was brief, the love she poured into this world will echo for generations.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever our Sweetie Bee
