Andrew Garcia, 66, passed away peacefully July 25, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. "Andy" or "King of the Creek," as he was known, was a Pueblo Native born Feb 5, 1955 to Joseph and Jesusita (Calderon) Garcia both of whom preceded him in death. He was a Central High, class of 1974, graduate and retiree of the Public Works Department of Pueblo County. Andy had a great sense of humor, a contagious smile, and was always the life of the party. He enjoyed sports, the outdoors, gambling with his father, and watching Western films and series - "Gun Smoke" was his favorite. His biggest joy was his family, especially his mom Susie, who he missed and spoke of often. He was proud to be a "momma's boy." Andy is survived by his children, Andrew (Georgia) Garcia, Amanda Garcia, and David Garcia; his siblings, Patrick (Jeanette) Garcia, Joe (Esther) Garcia, and Loretta (Bill) Barney; grandchildren, Janiece, Sarah, Andrew Jr., and Isiah; great grandchild, Andres; mother of his children, Claudia Arellano; godson, Anthony Velasquez; goddaughter, BreeAnn Montoya, several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who loved and will miss Andy. Rosary at 9:15AM followed by Memorial Mass at 10:00AM Fri Aug 6, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
