Arthur Joe Aguero III, 35, was called home on January 27, 2026. A lifelong Puebloan, Arthur was born on March 30, 1990.
Arthur was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Virgina Armijo and Juanita Nuci, and his cousin, Desiree Trujillo.
Arthur lived life with an adventurous spirit and a generous heart. He loved sharing new experiences with the people he loved most, especially his children. Being outdoors brought him peace; whether he was fishing, longboarding, skateboarding, or simply enjoying nature. He had a deep love and genuine care for all animals.
He shared an unbreakable bond with his brother, Jeremy. Their time together was filled with laughter, loyalty, and love. Family and friends were the center of his world, and he treasured every moment spent making memories with them.
Arthur was a hard worker. He took pride in his work as a welder and in hazardous spill response; jobs that demanded strength, courage, and resilience. Yet, no title ever mattered to him as much as being a father. Being a dad was his greatest joy and his proudest role. His children were his entire world. Arthur lived for Layna and Ian, and nothing brought him more happiness than laughing with them, teaching them, and creating memories they will carry forever.
Arthur leaves behind a legacy of love in his parents, Lauretta and Ron Nuci, and Arthur Aguero Jr.; his daughter, Layna Rae Aguero; his son, Ian Jeremy Aguero; his brother, Jeremy Aguero; the mother of his children, Tanisha Muniz; grandparents, Arthur Aguero Sr., Ernest Nuci, Andy (Ruth) Trujillo, and Kathy Griego; his uncles, Andy Trujillo, AJ (Nicole) Trujillo, and Ken (Janie) Nuci; his aunts, Lisa Ayala (Gil Cardenas), Selene Griego, Terri (Ed) Pacheco, Danielle Aguero (Christopher Sherman), Ryan Aguero Hutchinson (Gregory Hutchinson), and Nicole (Brandon) Kasubaski; along with numerous cousins and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Arthur will be remembered for his adventurous soul, his gentle heart, his strength, and most of all, for the incredible love he had for his children. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
Rosary 9:30am, with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10a.m. Fri. Feb. 6, 2026. Both at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Internment, Roselawn Cemetery.
