Arthur R. Trujillo

Arthur R. Trujillo, 75, passed away on June 7, 2026. A lifelong Puebloan, Arthur was born on August 30, 1950, to Ralph and Lucy (Ramirez) Trujillo. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Tom Trujillo and Ralph Trujillo Jr.; parents-in-law, Talo and Flora Nava; Robert and Dolly Frances; brother-in-law, Rich; and nephews, Roman and Gary.

Arthur proudly served his country in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. Following a dedicated 40-year career, he retired from Black Hills Energy. In his free time, he enjoyed collecting clocks, making knives, working in his yard, and tinkering in his garage. He was also an avid Denver Broncos fan. Win or lose, he cheered them on faithfully every season.

Arthur had a heart of gold. He was generous, compassionate, and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He found joy in life's simple pleasures and had a way of making every occasion feel special, especially birthdays. He never forgot a birthday and always made sure those he loved felt celebrated. His favorite foods were hot dogs and chicken noodle soup, and he had quite a sweet tooth, especially for donuts and cinnamon bears. He also enjoyed watching cooking shows and often requested recipes or dishes he discovered on the Food Network.

Arthur and Lydia shared 52 years of love, companionship, and life's many lessons. Together, they built a beautiful life and were true soulmates.

Above all, Arthur was a devoted family man. Family always came first, and he showed his love through his actions, sincerity, and unwavering support. He cherished every moment spent with those he loved and created countless memories that will be treasured forever.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Lydia Trujillo; daughter, Melanie (Norman) Trujillo; son, Ruben Trujillo; sister, Bernadine Trujillo; and numerous in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly and will miss him greatly.

Arthur will be forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
