Barbara Louise Garcia Rayas

Barbara Louise Garcia Rayas passed away January 13, 2025 at the age of 75. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Lucy Garcia.

Barbara was the life of the party and a social butterfly by nature. She loved her Motown and Oldies music, and would dance a cumbia with anyone at the drop of a hat. She greeted everyone with a beaming smile and conversation that always included children and grandchildren. She loved her outings to Cripple Creek with Doris and Josie. She looked forward to birthday celebrations with her sisters, as well as the movies, lunch, and shopping. Hers was a simple life with simple pleasures. She didn’t have much materially speaking, but what she had, she would share profusely with any one and everyone. She had a heart of gold.

She is survived by the loves of her life; daughter, Esperanza; sons, Javier and Fernando; grandchildren, Jayda, Nathan, Julian, Brianna, and Jesus; great-grandchildren, Loukas, Baylee, Lucia, and Madeline; her sisters, Judy, Phyllis, Theresa (Nick), Marianne, Sondra, and brother, Jess (Nancy); Godson, Ricky Rayas; lifelong friend, Doris Lucero; and many loving nieces and nephews.

We love you Barb and will miss and think of you endlessly until we meet again.
