Bill Goodrich, 70, passed away September 6, 2024. He was born August 3, 1954 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to parents, Thomas and Virginia (Martinez) Goodrich, both precede him in death.
In his early years, Bill worked as a roofer for Central States Roofing for many, many years. He retired as a crossing guard at Heritage Elementary School. He loved being with his grandkids who were the apples of his eye. Bill also enjoyed fishing, working in his yard and having a cup of coffee with the love of his life, Elaine. He was her alarm clock. Bill was very onery, always joking with everyone. He was our family taxi. Bill was an excellent pool player, he taught all of his kids and grandchildren. His biggest joy was spending quality time with family sharing his life lessons, stories, words of wisdom and love for each of them
Bill is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 47 years, Elaine Goodrich; children, Danette (Darrell) Gonzales Chavez, Tommy (Anita) Minjarez, Billy Goodrich, Dwan (Ed) Goodrich and Samantha Goodrich; siblings, Patrick (Nancy) Goodrich, Annadean Seley, Gerald (Jan) Goodrich and Marquez siblings; 17 grandchildren, Alex, Darrell Jr., Ashley, Alissa, Danielle, Tommy, Eddie, Xavier, Tony, Kaylona, Joey, Elias, Dominic, Samantha, Emilia, Billie and Jayden; several nieces, nephews, cousins, loving family and lifelong friends.
Funeral Service, 1 pm, Thurs., Sept. 19, 2024 at Angelus Chapel.
