Carrie B. Brown

Carrie B. Brown, 83, passed away April 30, 2019. She was born April 2, 1936 in San Augustine, Texas to proud parents Elijah Sr. and Maggie (Jones) Polk both preceded her in death, along with husband, Webb Brown Sr.; son, Webb "Champ" Brown Jr; daughter, Melandy Tillman; brothers, David Polk, Elijah Polk Jr.; grandmother, Annie Bell Helton. Carrie enjoyed reading detective books, her favorite movies, mysteries and thriller especially Columbo. She also liked writing in journals and traveling the world. Carrie is survived by her loving children, Kimberlie Crutchfield, Karen Hudson, Casandra Hitzges; siblings, Mary Thompson, Joseph Polk, Patricia "Ann" (Charlie) Bonner, John Allen Polk, Julandra Baker, Debra Walker; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives. Funeral services 1 p.m Thursday, May 9, 2019 Angelus Chapel, Pastor Charlie Sankey, officiating. Interment Imperial Memorial Gardens.
