Charles "Carlos" Bustillos

Charles “Carlos” Bustillos, 78, a lifetime Puebloan passed away Dec 19, 2019. He was born to Jose and Josephina Bustillos who precedes him in death along with son, Chris Bustillos. He enjoyed going to the Mariachi festival in Albuquerque in the summer. He loved to travel to Vegas, Mexico, and Costa Rica. He was a member of the Eagle. He retired from the CF& I with 40 years of service in the rail mill. He was an avid softball player and stayed very involved in the softball community. Most of all he cherished his time with his family, and having BBQ’s together. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1959-1963 on the USS Ranger is survived by his wife, Loretta Bustillos; children, Charlie (Vicki) Bustillos, Lori Duren, Johnny (Yoshiko) Bustillos; grandchildren, Jamie Rice, Riley (Serena) Duren, Iris and Kai Bustillos; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Rick (Pat) Bustillos, Joey (Sandy) Bustillos, Cathy Duran, and Barbara (Dale) Bustillos Cogwell; and many extended children and grandchildren who will miss him dearly.
