Christopher J. Hernandez, 39, A lifetime Puebloan passed away Aug. 14, 2023. He was born Sept. 18, 1983 to proud parents Chris Lucero and Paula Caro Hernandez. Christopher is preceded in death by his grandparents Alfredo and Rita Lucero, Charlie and Nellie Esquibel and Albert Padilla; brother, Ryan Lucero and uncle, Carlos Esquibel. Christopher enjoyed sports, especially football. He was a great artist. Christopher liked going to the mountains, listening to music and being a jokester, making everyone laugh. Most of all he loved his family and spending time with each of them. Christopher is survived by his children, Teyah and Leah Trujillo; parents, Chris Lucero and Paula Caro Hernandez; siblings, Julian (Lori) Hernandez, Amanda (Michael) Hernandez, Ernest Valdez, Tim Calderon, Josiah Chavez, Maria Calderon, Bella Calderon and Merenda Lucero; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who loved and will miss him dearly. Funeral Service, 10 am Thurs. Aug. 24, 2023 at Angelus Chapel. Family will receive friends at 5410 Peregrine Dr. following services.
