Thanking God for the life of our beloved Clara Mae Wilson, 97, died peacefully in her sleep July 27, 2022 and is dancing on streets of gold! Clara Mae a lifetime Puebloan was born January 3, 1925 to the union of George and Willie Mae (Allen) Jones who precede her in death along her beloved husband of 57 years, Clyde "Jetty" Wilson; daughter, Henrietta Betts; brother, James Owens; grandson, Dametrius Tillman; great-grandson, Elijah Wilson.
Clara Mae was a homemaker. She was a Deaconess at First AME Church and a "Meals on Wheels" volunteer. She enjoyed her travels to Disney World, Disney Land, Michigan, Germany and Paris. She enjoyed life and loved people. Her favorite saying was, “God loves you and so do I”. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She leaves to cherish her memory; her children, Clyde Jr. Wilson of Richmond, CA, George (JoAnn) Wilson of Denver, Charles Wilson of Pueblo, Sidney (Nancy) Wilson of Pueblo, Clarice Wilson Tillman Anderson of Grand Rapids, MI, Donald Wilson of Denver, and Sandra Wilson, Pueblo.; 34 grandchildren; 69 great grandchildren; 25 great great grandchildren; her sister, Beulah Tannihill; sisters-in-laws, Vivian Wilson of Denver, Emma Smith of Pueblo; special friends, Martha Poole and Mary Ann Lemon and a host of nieces and nephews.
