Daniel R. Gibbons, 71, passed away March 22, 2024. A lifetime Puebloan, he was born Sept. 4, 1952 to, Virginia Stringfellow, who precedes him in death.
Daniel loved being in the outdoors, going camping, having a cold one and eating all the sweets that he could. He always spoke his mind, he never beated around the bush. Daniel loved to gather with his family. He also enjoyed hanging out with his grandchildren, sharing his life lessons, words of wisdom and his love for each of them. He had a special bond with Kingston. Daniel was a collector of Native art. His pride and joy were his Indian baby dolls. Daniel loved to go out on the town with his brother, flirting with all the bartenders. He was a people person with a great personality, you became his friend immediately.
Daniel is survived by his children, Daniel Gibbons Jr., Eugene (Angela) Gibbons, Tanya (Henry) Prien, and Shawn (Cassy) Gibbons; siblings, Richard Gibbons and Bernadine (Sherman) Martin; 19 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren who loved and will miss him.
