Daniel Trujillo

Daniel Trujillo, 33 passed away unexpectedly November 1, 2019, at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, Colorado. Daniel was born to Janet and Randy Trujillo on September 3, 1986. Daniel was a fighter from the day he was born having had three open heart surgeries at two days old, thirteen months and at the age of fifteen. All of these surgeries were done at Children’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado. As a toddler and through his early growing years he endured physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy; even with these trial and tribulations his outlook and approach was always loving and with that big Daniel smile! He was at a new height in life with a job he loved, his engagement and upcoming wedding. Daniel will be remembered for his contagious smile, his love of soccer, music, professional wrestling, and college basketball, but most of all on how he loved spending time with his family and friends. Our world is a better place because he was in it. Daniel is survived by his loving parents Randy and Janet, brother Christopher (Leilani) Trujillo and fiancé Jessica Chavez; Godparents Kathy and Frank Gonzalez and Larry and Sandy Trujillo, his three dogs, “Grandpa Lance”, Mia and Lucy; special cousins: Tyler, Jake and Josh, as well as his God-brother Billy Navarro, close friends Dave, Marcus and Lucas, several aunts, uncles, numerous cousins; and extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents Pete and Isabel Medina and Ramona and Fred Trujillo. Daniel will be dearly missed by all and the love we knew, still shining through, remains forever bright.
