Davey Velarde Obituary

Davey A Velarde, 55, passed away October 14th 2021. A lifetime Puebloan and graduate of Central class of ‘84, he was born December 19th 1965 to Joe and Stella (Arellano) Velarde. His father precedes him in death along with his brother Mitchell “Mike”.

Davey enjoyed building things and worked hard in the construction industry, building trusses, painting, and framing. When he wasn’t building something, He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors hiking at the Crestone Needle, fishing, camping, and hunting.

Davey leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Stella Velarde, his sisters Betty Joe Velarde and Susan (Bryan) Hynes, brothers, Terry, Eloye, Ricky, Orlando, Mikey, and Gerald (Denise) Velarde, daughters, Lindsey and Jacqulyn, step children, Felisha, Tabatha, David, and Michelle and numerous other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
