David Ronald Rivera

David Ronald Rivera, 74, passed away August 13, 2024. He was born July 9, 1950 in La Junta, CO. to parents, Tobias and Josephine (Lopez) Rivera, both precede him in death along with his brother, Robert Rivera.

David served in the U.S. Army and was a proud veteran. He was a talented carpenter; he would make beautiful cabinets. He was very hands on with his work. David enjoyed the outdoors; especially hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed going for rides and long walks. Alcalde, New Mexico was one of his favorite places to be. His family was very important to him, and he enjoyed all the times he was able to spend with them.

David is survived by his wife, Dolores (Villescas) Rivera; sons, David A. Rivera and Michael T. (Karenn) Rivera; daughter, Anna Marie (Mack) Magdaleno; grandchildren, Alani, Lucius, Athena, and Jacob; great-grandchild, Alexander; siblings, Dr. Richard (Lillian) Rivera and Tobias (Claudia) Rivera, numerous family and friends who will miss him dearly.
