Dean Michael Sena

Dean Michael Sena, affectionately known as "Mikey", 57, passed away unexpectedly July 11, 2019. Born April 19, 1962 to Joseph Ernesto Sr. and Anna Mae Sena. He is preceded in death by his father and brother, Joe E. Sena Jr. Dean was a humble, loving and private kind of man. He served in the United States Navy, owned his own construction company and had 13 years of service as an Ironworker. Dean was a well known face at Pueblo Community College, serving as President of Phi Theta Kappa and Rotary. He graduated in 2014 then became an instructor at PCC. Above all spending time with his family was most important. He is survived by his lifelong partner, Jo Ann Palma; mother, Anna Mae Sena; mother of his children; Janet Ortiz; grandmother, Pat Gomey; brother, Christopher (Jen) Sena; children, Leighlani (Jamie) Escobado and Sebastian 'Seb' (Tamara) Sena, Roddy (LaVelle), Steven (Heather) and Darlene (Kenny) Palma; grandchildren, Aija, Aaliya, Jacobo and Samuel; step-grandchildren, Lariah, Roddy Jr, Martika, Isaac, Unique, Charizma, Ricardo, Mireya, Darien and Dominic; nieces, Cheyanne (Alex), Eliana, Chevy and Maliah; nephews, Bruce, Anthony, Devin, Andruw, Nickolas, and Anthony Jr. and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
