Deborah Yvonne Carbajal

Deborah “Debby” Carbajal, 59, passed away June 24, 2026.  Born August 3, 1966 to Angel and Carmen Carbajal in Silveraty, NM.  She is preceded in death by her father, Angel Carbajal.

Debby lived with an open heart, always giving and serving those around her. She devoted her life to caring for her family, friends, and loved ones, often putting the needs of others before her own. It was not uncommon for neighbors or relatives to stop by at any hour, knowing they would be welcomed with a warm meal and open arms. Leaving with a full belly. No matter where she was, Debby was always ready to lend a helping hand.

Debbie lovingly watched over her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; not out of obligation, but because loving others came naturally to her. Debby had a way of brightening every room she entered. Her laughter was contagious. She loved to dance, be silly, and make those around her smile. She brought joy wherever she went.

She will be remembered for her hilarious first impressions, her Pinterest fails, couponing skills, tik tok dances, spitfire attitude, her gift for storytelling, and the countless memories she created with the people she loved. Debby also had a special place in her heart for animals, and could never ignore a hungry creature.

Above all, Debby lived a life of selfless love, she loved with her whole heart. Her kindness, generosity, and joyful spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know her, and her legacy will live on in the lives of those she inspired.

She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Carmen Carbajal; sons, Ruben (Constance) Carbajal, Michael (Stacey) Carbajal; daughter, Angelica Mascarenas; brother, Ronald Carbajal; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, along with numerous family members and friends.

She will forever be loved and missed.
