Debra S Martinez,affectionately known as “Debsta”, 58, passed away September 12, 2024, in Pueblo, Colorado. She was born on December 13, 1965, in Walsenburg, Colorado to Nancy Manzanares. She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Mary Rampa and Elias Lucero, Dolores and Antonio Manzanares; siblings: Phyllis Manzanares, Carlos Manzanares, Scott Wayne Manzanares; niece and nephews, Kisha Manzanares, DJ Manzanares and Justin Manzanares.
Debbie worked many years for Parkview Adult Medicine and most recently at St. Mary Corwin Common Spirit. She was a diehard Bronco fan, win or lose, she was cheering them on. Debbie loved to work in her yard taking care of her flowers. Her pride and joy were taking care of her Momma who was her best friend. She loved her family deeply and always wanted to celebrate and keep everyone together. Deb was a hard worker and a perfectionist, always wanting to make sure everyone and everything was good, sharing her love with each one of them. Deb had a witty personality and a great sense of humor. She was one of a kind. There will never be another Deb.
Debra “Debsta” leaves to cherish her memory: her loving parents Carmel Wayne and Nancy Manzanares; siblings: Mary (Chris) Gonzales, Duane Manzanares, Chris (Erica) Manzanares, Shane (Staci) Manzanares; special nephew: King Manzanares who was her little buddy. Special and best friends Theresa Bachicha, Veronica Salas; Several aunts and uncles, cousins, 23 nieces and nephews; numerous God children.
Rosary, 6 pm, Mon., Sept. 23, 2024 at The Angelus Chapel.
Funeral Mass, 10 am, Tues., Sept. 24 , 2024, at Holy Family Catholic Church
