Derrick L. Vigil Jr.

Derrick L. Vigil Jr., 28, passed away unexpectedly on May 31, 2025. A lifelong Puebloan he was born January 31, 1997 to proud parents, Derrick and Donnita (Lucero) Vigil Sr. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Ted Vigil and Joe Lucero.

Since the day that Derrick was born, he was loved beyond measure. He worked hard at CS Winds Manufacturing to be able to provide for his family. He would always pick up overtime when give the opportunity. In his spare time he enjoyed BMX, playing poker, fishing, hunting or just getting together with his friends and family.

Derrick is survived by his parents, Derrick and Donnita Vigil Sr., his one sister, Julia Vigil; his grandmother, Barbara Vigil; his beloved, Larissa (Mondragon) Vigil; his 2 daughters, Delilah and Teddy Vigil; his aunt, Daphne Schilling; his uncles, Jason (Angela) Vigil and Brian (Veronica) Hammer; numerous cousins and friends. Derrick will be greatly missed by all who loved him. He will never be forgotten.
