Deserae Bradley Obituary

Deserae Shante Bradley "Dezi", 42, made her transition into eternity, Friday, July 3, 2020.

On April 10, 1978 in the city of Chicago a miracle occured where our father presented to the world and blessed Robert Bradley and Gwen (Jones) Howard with a beautiful baby girl Deserae Shante Bradley.  She is preceded in death by her father, her sister Jacqueline Parker and stepfather, Jim Howard.

Deserae attended Jenson School. She enjoyed arts and crafts, she was great at interior designing. She attended Cosmetology School, along with obtaining a career in the medical field. She was quite the fashionista; she had great talent when it came to hair, makeup, and nails.   She always stepped out, looking good.

Deserae Shante Bradley, "Dezi" was a loving and faithful mother to Demetrius D. Collins , Desire D. Johnson, and DeKarai D. Hughes, who were her absolute world; her love for her mother Gwen was immeasurable; who she leaves to cherish her memory; along with the love of her life, Devon Douglas Collins; sisters, Sherrice L. Fulton and Michelle T.  Fulton; brother, Jason V.E. Bradley; mother-in-law, Denise Collins; grandmother, Elsie Jones Weekly; Uncles Ray Anthony Jones and Charles Jones; aunt, Sabrina Jones;her numerous nieces and nephews to include, Neaveh, Savanna, Rosie & Niko; numerous loving family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

To know Dezi was to love her, she could light up a room. When she entered and touched the lives of those she encountered.
There was no darkeness in Dezi. Her smile and laugh was contagious and illuminating. On your worst days having a conversation with Dezi are measures that were indescribable. She loved life, and lived it to the fullest without any hesitation, regrets or reservations.

There was no deceit in Dezi. She strived always to give the best of herself to all she encountered.

Although Dezi didn't have a church home, she had church in her heart and studied the word diligently in her personal woman's cave hours upon hours.

Leaving this earthly vessel. Christ Jesus called her home to his heavenly kingdom. Stating well done thy good and faithful servant.

Friends and family have shared their relationship to show their support.
