Dorian Tyler Obituary

Dorian (Dory) Tyler passed away April 28 of this year. He was 5 years old. He was such a light in all of us that will never fade even though he's no longer on this plain I still see him and feel him in everything.

Since birth he was always so incredibly strong. He was even strong for dad and I at some points when we feared we would lose him a few different times. We were told by many that we couldn't handle him and we should give him to a family that doesn't have other kids so they can give him the care that he would need and we said no way he is our baby and we will raise him the best we can and we did just that.

Anyone that knew Dory knew that he was always such a happy boy and had the biggest most bestest smile and when he wasn't smiling that's how you knew that something was wrong (whether he was sick or it was his seizures or his dystonia episodes were getting worse). Also anyone that knew Dory knew that he could be so dang ornery, he would give you a look when he woke up in the morning and you would know that you're in for whatever Dory was cooking up for the day, he knew exactly how to get his arm braces off (either with his mouth or hands), he would roll away from you when changing his butt or his clothes (he loved being a naked boy), and he knew exactly the wrong times to poop.

He loved family, dance parties with Aunt Paige and mom (and sometimes the other kiddos). Speaking of the other kiddos he had 4 siblings Kaylene, Ayden, Liam and Daemon that he loved very much and loved all their cuddles, he loved playing with them the best he could and just being around them he smiled the biggest of smiles around all his family. He loved his cousins Jakoby and Amari as well and spending time with them. He loved when grandma Kelly came over to visit us and he loved being held and talked to by grandma. He loved making faces and fart noises with Uncle Dave. He loved being at Uncle Rob and Aunt Angie's BBQs and enjoyed all the cousins he had over there too! He loved fishing, playing guitar with dad but it also made him cry (Dory and maybe sometimes dad too), he loved bath time and swimming, he loved when we sang him songs, he loved his OT wife Dulce (inside joke) and always was so excited to see her and worked very hard just for her, he loved his home nurse (Dennis) and loved to give him lots of his Dory ornery-ness everyday, he loved to make Will his PT work extra hard and he loved to try to bite him especially when he least expected it, he loved their boss Angela who came to do dads recerts she loved to joke about stealing him when mom wasn't looking and also Kathryn and Stephanie (Will and Dulces' bosses), he loved being held and cuddled especially by dad and I, he loved watching movies but his favorite was Moana. I (mom) miss the way you looked at me with pure love and pure joy, it just melted me.

You knew no flaws. We miss your sweet, sweet smile that warmed everyone's hearts and those long, long lashes that everyone was crazy for. We will all miss you greatly Dorian (Dory) and you will forever be in our hearts! Fly high my sweet angel baby! May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rain fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
