Edward Gordon Dean, affectionately known as “Gordon”, 69, passed away April 5, 2024. A lifetime Puebloan, he was born Aug. 9, 1954 to Viola Mae Neff, she precedes him in death along with his brother, Richard E. Russell and his uncle, Jerry Powell.
Edward was a big fan of the Ohio State Buccs and the Cleveland Indians. He loved music, motorcycles and ice cream sandwiches. Edward worked at the Southside King Soopers from the age of 17 until he retired in 2002. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family and his favorite saying to them was “You know my record!”.
Edward is survived by his sister, Roxana Fernandez (Mark) Richardson; brother, David N. (Becky) Fernandez; niece and goddaughter, Amanda Coatney; nephew and godson, Dominic Coatney; great nephews and godsons, Alexander (Herby) Coatney and Eli Zuercher; sister, Theresa Baca; cousins Trinna and Dave Chavez; aunts, Betty Powell and family and Patricia Puderbaugh; numerous friends and acquaintances who loved and will miss him dearly.
