Edward "Preston" P. Washington

Edward Preston Washington, 64, affectionately known as “Preston” passed away Nov. 12, 2022.  A lifetime Puebloan he was born June 26, 1958 to Eddie and Shirley (Andrews) Washington who preceded him in death along with his brother, Andre Washington and nephew, Branden Washington.  Preston was a 1976 graduate of Central High School.  He was an avid sports fan, he enjoyed watching the Broncos and Nuggets.  He enjoyed music, and court shows, especially “Judge Mathis”.  He loved to dress, always styling including jewelry and cologne.  Above all Preston loved his family and cherished his time spent with them.  Preston leaves to cherish his memory; his daughter, Shalita (George) Lopez; grand-daughter, Nya LeShay Chapman; great-grandson, Jace Edward Chapman; a great-granddaughter on the way; siblings, Wayne Washington, Avis “Tootsie” (Keith) Wilhite, Olivia (Robert) Myers, Catherine (Rodney) McCree, and Stephanie (Sidney) Brock; nieces, Shayla Myers, Amber McCree, Audrea Washington, DeAndra Washington; nephews, Daric Wilhite, Kameron Wilhite, Colton Myers, Connor Brock, Andre Washington, Jared Washington; special cousin, Clifford Washington; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.  Homegoing Celebration, 1 pm Tuesday Nov. 22, 2022 at Angelus Chapel.  Internment, Roselawn Cemetery.  Online condolences, www.angeluspueblo.com.
