Elizabeth June Castro

Elizabeth June Castro, 71, passed away unexpectedly on March 29, 2025 in Pueblo, CO. Born to the union of Epifanio and Ethel Castro on November 12, 1953. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Paula Garcia (Amador Rodriguez), Theresa (Willie) Medina and Angela Castro (Levi Kincaid); her grandchildren, Nakita Perea, Marcus Perea, John “JJ” Garnier Jr, Ethel Fernandez, Joshua Garnier Sr, Jeremy Garnier, Stephanie Acosta, Shantel Acosta, Justice Garnier and Hali Castro-Medina; also 20 great grandchildren; siblings include, Delores Marshall, Rosalie “Carmen” Sanchez, Richard (Deborah) Castro and Colleen Gallegos; favorite niece, Tina (Pat) Torres; numerous nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her loving parents, Epifanio and Ethel Castro; sister, Roseann Castro; nephew, Patrick Castro, and former husband, Paul Geathers.

She retired from Convergys, where she made many great friends. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, watching old movies, listening to oldies, watching the Detroit Lions and her dogs. She also enjoyed spending weekends with her great grandson, Joshua "Mister" Garnier Jr. She will be greatly missed by many.
