Eloy "EZ-E" David Marquez

Eloy David Marquez, 66, affectionately known as "EZ-E", passed away January 29, 2025. He was born May 15, 1958 in Denver, Colorado to parents, Jose and Alice (Ponce) Marquez. Both precede him in death along with his siblings, Marie Ponce of Las Vegas, Nevada and Rudy Marquez of Pueblo, Colorado; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Marquez.

Eloy was a big fan of his hometown team, Denver Broncos and enjoyed watching the games on Sunday. He enjoyed going for walks at the Riverwalk. Eloy gave his life to the Lord 4 years ago and loved going to Sunday service and any fellowship. His favorite TV show was Young Sheldon and he loved to cook and make his weekly pot of green chili.

Eloy is survived by his siblings, Joseph, Benji, Loretta, and Daniel Marquez; son, Dio (Leah Nelson) Marquez; 3 grandkids; longtime companion and friend of 25 years, Angela Long; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who love and will miss Eloy.
